Professor Dan earned his PhD in engineering in Dalian University of Technology. From 2003 to 2005, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of CT, Shenzhen Anke High-Tech Company. In 2005, he was appointed as an engineer in this company. Since 2007, he has worked at Shenzhen University School of Medicine. His research focuses on medical electronics and rehabilitation. He has completed one project funded by China’s NSF (Youth programs) and four projects supported by Shenzhen government. He was a vice chairman in the Biological Information and Control Branch of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering (CSBE), and he is a standing committee member in Rehabilitation Engineering Professional Committee of Guangdong Association of Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities. He is also a council member in Shenzhen Biomedical Engineering Society.
