Chufeng Shang, Ph.D.

Professor, Shenzhen Institute of Neuroscience

Dr. Shang received his Ph.D degree from the Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011. Comprehensive application of various methods such as electrophysiology, optical imaging, psychophysics, optogenetics, nanomaterials and transgenic manipulation, as well as large-scale data statistical analysis. Some achievements have been made in cell secretion mechanism, neuromodulator detection in living animals, visual perception neural circuit mechanism, and brain-wide neuronal circuit mechanism of basic cognitive behavior. Some of them have been published in Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Physiology, PNAS and other international authoritative journals, and published review articles in Current Opinions in Physiology.
