Benjamin Xu, Ph.D.,深圳市神经科学研究院研究员,1997年获得美国匹兹堡大学认知心理学博士学位,然后长期在美国国立健康研究院 (NIH) 工作,先后任NINDS全职科学家、NIAAA神经科学与行为分部基金项目主任、NCANDA基金项目主任、美国脑计划指导委员会成员、HBCD基金科学指导专家。作为美国国立健康研究院 (NIH)的研究员,Dr. Xu在语言认知、人脑执行功能,其损伤,和脑成像等方面发表了多篇论文、并在儿童大脑发育,酒精与药物成瘾科学研究和美国脑计划项目发展等领域做出了很大贡献,2023年获得美国国立健康研究院国立神经系统疾病与脑卒中研究院院长奖。2023年底辞去国立健康研究院的职位。
