谭力海,深圳市神经科学研究院研究员,国家特聘专家,暨南大学粤港澳中枢神经再生研究院(深圳校区)教授。深圳市科研项目“脑疾病与语言功能保护”负责人(2016-2020),科技部国家重点基础研究计划(973计划)项目首席科学家(2012-2016)。1995年获得香港大学博士学位。曾任香港大学神经语言科学助理教授、副教授、教授和终身教授(1999-2014)。2005年,谭力海创建了香港大学脑与认知科学国家重点实验室,并担任实验室主任至2014年8月, 这是国家科技部首次批准在内地以外所建立的两个国家重点实验室之一。长期从事神经影像研究并应用到语言研究,其主要研究领域及方向包括:结构和功能MRI数据的处理和建模;应用神经影像技术对人脑处理语言的区域进行精准定位,在国际神经科学界创立了大脑语言功能区“文化特异性理论”(Culture-specific Theory);应用人脑语言功能区的发现到颅脑手术,指导临床上对脑疾病患者进行个体化手术入路设计,在最大程度上保护我国国民大脑的语言功能;在基因、脑、行为三个层面对中文失读症和汉语口吃患者进行系统研究,探寻我国国民语言障碍的特定脑功能异常模式和基因表达,为早期干预设计科学方案;正常成年人大脑的高度可塑性问题。
